iOS Engineer

We're looking to bring on a mid level iOS engineer to help us with a big bet on our Voice platform in the new mobile app. As a member of the mobile team at Podium, you'll work on a cross-disciplinary team using your knowledge to build native mobile applications that are used by tens of thousands of people each week. This role is fully remote, so if you like solving interesting problems and thrive in a hyper-growth setting, this is the role for you!

What you will be doing:

• Implement designs to create applications for the iOS platform
• Attending daily standup and other meetings as needed
• Communicate effectively and proactively with stakeholders about your work
• Collaborate with team to plan and implement product roadmap
• Focus on quality, performance, and responsiveness of applications
• Use the latest technologies and iOS APIs to create world-class applications

What you should have:

• 3+ years professional building complex iOS development using Swift. Bonus points for experience using SwiftUI.
• Experience working with GraphQL or REST APIs.
• Familiarity with the iOS tool ecosystem for development, testing, and performance benchmarking.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Familiarity with architectural patterns of large, high-scale mobile applications (e.g., well-designed APIs, high-volume data pipelines, efficient algorithms, MVC, MVVM, etc.).
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with product teams, design, and other engineers.
• Embody the "Be a Founder" mentality in everything you do.
• Experience working with distributed teams and working effectively in a remote setting.
