Job Description

Team: IT

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an IT and Information Security Coordinator in Brazil.

This role is responsible for strengthening internal IT operations and information security practices within a fast-paced, remote-first environment. You will act as a key technical reference point for employees, ensuring secure, efficient, and compliant use of systems, tools, and cloud environments. The position combines hands-on IT support with cybersecurity oversight, including identity and access management, endpoint security, and cloud protection. You will play a critical role in maintaining secure infrastructure across SaaS, cloud, and internal systems while supporting users globally. In addition, you will collaborate closely with engineering and security teams to improve CI/CD security, vulnerability management, and infrastructure hardening. This is a highly impactful role where operational excellence and security awareness directly contribute to organizational resilience and growth.

Accountabilities:

  • Provide advanced technical support to internal users, diagnosing and resolving IT and security-related incidents across Windows, Unix-like systems, and cloud-based tools.
  • Manage IT assets, identity and access lifecycle processes (provisioning, de-provisioning, least privilege enforcement), and ensure secure access governance.
  • Administer endpoint security tools including antivirus, patch management systems, and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
  • Support and maintain Google Workspace, Slack, and other collaboration platforms with a strong focus on security and compliance.
  • Oversee AWS environments, including access configuration, monitoring, security controls, and incident investigation.
  • Collaborate with security, compliance, and engineering teams on risk assessments, audits, GRC controls, and secure CI/CD and IaC practices.
  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of IT/security policies, documentation, and internal procedures.
  • Support SSO integrations and authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth2, OpenID) across systems and client environments.
  • Promote security awareness by educating employees on best practices, policies, and safe digital behavior.
  • Participate in strategic planning activities, including OKRs, roadmaps, and IT/security budgeting.
  • Requirements:

    • Proven experience in IT support and information security operations in enterprise or SaaS environments.
    • Strong knowledge of Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems and enterprise IT environments.
    • Hands-on experience with identity and access management, secure provisioning, and access governance practices.
    • Experience administering Google Workspace and Slack with a security-first mindset.
    • Practical knowledge of endpoint protection tools, MDM platforms, antivirus solutions, and patch management systems.
    • Solid understanding of AWS security concepts, cloud workload protection, and monitoring practices.
    • Familiarity with security frameworks such as CIS Critical Security Controls and privacy regulations like LGPD and GDPR.
    • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Git, SAST/DAST tools, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
    • Knowledge of authentication protocols such as SAML, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect, including SSO configuration.
    • Strong documentation and communication skills in English, with the ability to write clear procedures and policies.
    • Fluency in Portuguese and English, with the ability to collaborate in international, cross-functional teams.
    • Strong analytical thinking, autonomy, and ability to operate in fast-changing, high-responsibility environments.
    • Benefits:

      • Fully remote work model with international collaboration.
      • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge cybersecurity and cloud security challenges.
      • Exposure to global teams and diverse, multicultural environments.
      • Career development in IT security, cloud security, and DevSecOps practices.
      • Continuous learning opportunities in modern security tools and frameworks.
      • High-impact role with ownership and autonomy over security operations.
      • Dynamic, innovation-driven culture focused on transparency and growth.
