Simple Technology Solutions is looking for an IT Change Management ProfessionalĀ to add to our team.
Quick Position Overview:
- US Citizenship is required
- A bachelor's degree is required
- Minimum of 3 years of IT Change Management experience required
The role:
The Change Management Professional will collaborate closely with our client's enterprise IT community to manage IT changes in compliance with their established policies and practices. As a member of the Change Management team, the Professional will primarily facilitate planned changes through established review and approval gates, ensuring that the changes are deployed in a clear, efficient, and organized manner. The team is responsible for arranging and conducting change review boards, capturing essential approvals and documentation, and maintaining the change schedule.

The IT Change Management Professional at STS will:
- Change and Configuration Management best practices
- Facilitate change review and control boards in adherence to customer Change Management policy
- Cross functional communication (up, down and across the enterprise)
- Issue escalation to internal and external stakeholders where appropriate
- Promote continuous improvement
- Monitor the implementation of change management to ensure the disruption of normal business operations is minimized
Education and Experience:
Required
- Bachelorās degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration Science, Mathematics, or Engineering or a related field
- 3 Years of IT Change Management experience
- Able to apply process improvement and change management methodologies, communication planning, organizational readiness assessment and stakeholder analyses to IT organization's process improvement and change management activities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to interact and be involved with customers (tenants), client negotiations and interfacing with senior management
- Experience leading and collaborating with technical teams of diverse IT related skill sets
- Knowledge and understanding of complex IT environments and deploying in Government environments
- Knowledge of managing work in Jira (or similar work tracking systems) and ability to prepare useful reports to foster data-driven decision making
- Exemplary communication, analytical skills as it relates to managing change across multiple customer organizations
- Ability to produce concise and clear technical documentation
- Other position-related duties as assigned
