Simple Technology Solutions is looking for an IT Change Management ProfessionalĀ to add to our team.

The role:

The Change Management Professional will collaborate closely with our client's enterprise IT community to manage IT changes in compliance with their established policies and practices. As a member of the Change Management team, the Professional will primarily facilitate planned We are seeking a Change Management Professional to join our team, collaborating closely with our client's enterprise IT community to manage IT changes in compliance with established policies and practices. As a member of the Change Management team, the Professional will be responsible for facilitating planned changes through established review and approval gates, ensuring clear, efficient, and organized deployment. This involves arranging and conducting change review boards, capturing essential approvals and documentation, and maintaining the change schedule. The successful candidate will also possess engineering and design experience, as well as extensive AWS knowledge and experience with integration, system analysis or programming experience, including developing AWS systems requirements and design specification. Additionally, excellent communication skills, a passion for performance, a strong desire for quality conformance, and attention to detail are essential requirements for this position.

The IT Change Management Professional at STS will:

  • Provide support to CM Boards and Project Teams, which includes delivering project status reports, design documents, design validation, migration planning, service delivery guidance, and implementation support documents
  • Develop, maintain, update, and implement CM plans and procedures, as well as control configuration baselines. Conduct functional and physical configuration audits, and formal qualification reviews
  • Submit proposed changes to DHS systems or project baselines to the Change Control Board (CCB) and the Technical Working Group (TWG). Maintain a record of all submitted and approved changes, and keep a schedule of deliverables showing both scheduled and actual delivery dates
  • Create, maintain, update, and implement a Configuration Management Data Base (CMDB), an engineering release system, a configuration item development record (including the configuration index and change status listing), and configuration status accounting. Additionally, support the CCB
  • Provide assistance for Change Management modernization projects as directed by the DEC program

Education and Experience:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration Science, Mathematics, or Engineering or a related field
  • IT Change Management experience
  • Able to apply process improvement and change management methodologies, communication planning, organizational readiness assessment and stakeholder analyses to IT organization's process improvement and change management activities
  • 7+ years of integration, systems analysis, or programming experience
  • 5+ years of developing systems requirements and design specifications in AWS
  • 3+ years of experience in project management/ lead architect positions in AWS development or implementation
  • Experience leading and collaborating with technical teams of diverse IT related skill sets
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of AWS cloud and deploying in Government environments
  • Exemplary communication, analytical skills, and technical knowledge across the client environment

Required Certification

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate

Ā Preferred Certifications

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional
  • AWS Certifications in specialty domains such as Advanced Networking or Security
  • Other Certifications such as Red Hat Ansible
