Role Mission: As a key member of our Information Technology team, you will be responsible for working across all aspects of our internally facing IT endeavors, supporting our employees with technologies like Google Workspace, Network support, Desktop support/patching/security/provisioning, and trouble ticketing. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaboratively and consultatively work across our teams to help design, build, and support our IT infrastructure and systems. This includes:
    • Supporting our Google Workspace users and documents
    • Supporting our office networks (Wired, Wifi and Internet connectivity)
    • Managing our desktop inventory, provisioning new machines, installing operating systems and applications, ensuring systems are patched, and secure.
    • Supporting applications used by our users (in collaboration with vendors)
    • Providing general trouble ticket response and support across the organization.
    • Participating in our SlackOps ticket and response systems.
    • Providing hardware support, tracking hardware inventories, and ensuring hardware is performing well and up-to-date.

Who You Are:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • You are someone who has a passion for technology and computers in general.
  • You are a natural teacher and problem solver, and can work collaboratively with a varied range of coworkers to help them with their IT needs.
  • Be a continual learner, passionate about finding out how to solve problems, and willing to persevere through complex problems.
  • You have experience across the IT landscape (it’s okay, and expected, to learn new stuff on the job), including, but not limited to operating systems, applications, networks, and hardware. Our environment is primarily Mac, some Windows, and a fair bit of Linux through the engineering teams. (Linux experience is a plus).
  • Have an understanding of cybersecurity.
  • You’re willing to work in our NYC office at least three days a week (remote the rest), and are comfortable working remotely - both with yourself and your colleagues..
  • You’re willing to participate in on-call rotations, but note that the primary focus for this role is on supporting colleagues during business hours. We have employees across the North American time-zones, but you would be expected to provide support primarily through East Coast (NYC) office hours.

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes benefits, and other opportunities at LeagueApps. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal pay parity relative to other LeagueApps employees. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at LeagueApps to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors.
