The Role:Â
We're looking for our next internal IT person who can help employees with their technology and related issues, buying and tracking gear, helping new hires set up laptops, and general desktop support with a focus on MacOS. The person we’re looking for prioritizes making things happen and dedicates themselves to supporting their fellow Carrot colleagues. We want someone who is passionate about IT, works well under consistent high impact workloads, is self-motivated, and who will find clever ways of helping us educate our workforce on utilizing Macbooks as well as best practices for laptop security. If you're comfortable working on a broad set of IT projects, supporting security objectives and interested in streamlining our current processes (i.e. working smarter, not harder), read on. If you enjoy working with different team members, are passionate about our broader mission, and want to learn more from a growing company, this is the place for you.
The Team:Â
Our IT team is responsible for supporting the company’s tech-related needs as well as managing and implementing various projects within the organization. We are a small but mighty team of 4 people (3 IT Support Specialists reporting into the Director of IT). - At least two years of experience supporting a company's IT operation
- Service-oriented mindset and the ability to empathize with a wide range of technical experience
- Experience troubleshooting OS X
- Exposure to scripting or automation tools
- Experience working with auditors and security teams is a must
- Must be comfortable working west coast hours (PST)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with single sign-on solutions (Okta, Google Auth)
- Exposure to information security and related IT solutions
- Experience with these platforms: Azure, AWS, JAMF, Okta, Jira
- Experience with VDI solutions
Compensation:Â
Carrot offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work, including health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, short- and long-term incentives, parental leave, family-forming assistance, and a competitive compensation package. The expected base salary for this position will range from $105,000.00 - $130,000.00. Actual compensation may vary from posted base salary depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.Â
