Junior Java Developer

About the Team/Role 

As a Junior Developer, you are expected to work in an integrated engineering model, that means you will be responsible for creating and testing new applications that fit with our team standards to execute and deliver projects efficiently and on time and with the desired quality.

• Design and develop new applications

• Identify and implement CI/CD methodology and philosophies for existing and new applications and services

• Expand the team’s knowledge base on automation

Experience you’ll bring 

• Bachelor Degree in a related field or equivalent experience

• Some experience in Java development

• Experience working on agile teams to deliver software iteratively

• Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery

• Experience with Atlassian tools like Confluence and JIRA

• Some experience with Cloud solutions (Amazon Preferred) - Azure, Google or Amazon

• Some experience in .NET/C#

• Some experience with automation and CI/CD (such as Jenkins)

• Experience developing infrastructure as code

• Experience with Linux, containerization and container orchestration like Kubernetes

• Experience with logging, metrics and monitoring tools like DataDog and Splunk

• Experience developing infrastructure as code

• Experience with the fuel business and transaction processing
