This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Key Account Lead in the United States.

This role is focused on leading the strategy, governance, and execution for a portfolio of high-value strategic accounts, ensuring long-term growth, retention, and client satisfaction. You will act as the central driver of account success, building deep executive-level relationships and aligning internal teams around a unified account vision. Working across Sales, Delivery, and Product/Offerings, you will help activate growth initiatives, expand solution adoption, and improve overall account performance. The environment is highly cross-functional, fast-paced, and client-centric, requiring strong leadership and structured execution. You will also play a key role in translating account insights into actionable growth strategies and ensuring consistent governance across all major client interactions. This is a high-impact position where strategic thinking directly influences revenue growth and client success.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will lead strategic account governance and execution across a portfolio of premier clients, ensuring strong relationships, retention, and expansion outcomes.

  • Own strategic account planning and governance frameworks for assigned high-value accounts, ensuring structured execution and alignment across teams
  • Drive retention, expansion, and overall client satisfaction through disciplined account management and proactive engagement strategies
  • Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships, influencing key stakeholders and decision-makers across client organizations
  • Coordinate internal account teams to ensure optimal coverage, balanced capacity, and high-quality execution across all accounts
  • Partner with Sales, Delivery, and Offerings teams to activate growth initiatives, increase product penetration, and expand client relationships
  • Represent Account Management in deal reviews, GTM syncs, and leadership discussions, providing insights and recommendations
  • Lead governance cadences including QBRs, account planning sessions, and deal reviews, ensuring consistency and accountability
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and performance gaps within accounts and drive cross-functional resolution
  • Maintain visibility into account health metrics and translate insights into structured action plans
  • Ensure accurate documentation of account strategies, decisions, and outcomes for internal alignment and continuity
  • Requirements

    This role requires deep expertise in strategic account leadership, strong executive presence, and the ability to manage complex, matrixed environments effectively.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal, Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience
    • 10–15 years of experience in strategic account management, enterprise client leadership, or consulting/delivery roles
    • Proven experience managing complex enterprise accounts with responsibility for retention, expansion, and client satisfaction
    • Strong executive communication and stakeholder influence skills, with the ability to operate at C-level client interactions
    • Experience working in legal services, eDiscovery, consulting, or similarly complex service-based industries (preferred)
    • Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate execution in matrixed environments
    • High level of discipline in account governance, planning cycles, and structured reporting processes
    • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and relationship management skills
    • Ability to travel up to 30% for client and internal meetings
    • Highly organized, accountable, and comfortable operating in structured yet dynamic environments
