Job Description

Team: Analyst

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Lead Analyst, People Technology in United States.

This role sits at the intersection of People Technology, HR systems, and strategic transformation, with a strong focus on Workday Core HCM.
You will act as a key technical owner responsible for ensuring the integrity, scalability, and evolution of the global HR technology ecosystem.
The position plays a critical role in designing future-proof solutions that support the entire employee lifecycle across a complex, growing organization.
You will partner closely with HR, Finance, IT, and Global Operations to translate business needs into robust technical configurations.
A key part of the role involves leading high-impact initiatives such as M&A integrations, new entity builds, and system harmonization efforts.
This is a hands-on, strategic role where you will combine deep Workday expertise with systems thinking and AI-enabled problem solving.

Accountabilities:

  • Own and manage Workday Core HCM configuration across the employee lifecycle, ensuring system stability, scalability, and high data integrity across global environments.
  • Design and maintain end-to-end HR technology solutions, applying a systems-thinking approach to anticipate downstream impacts across modules such as Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, and Compensation.
  • Act as a strategic partner to cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, IT, Legal, and Global Expansion, translating complex needs into clear technical solutions.
  • Lead M&A integrations, new entity builds, and organizational restructuring initiatives, including data migration, Day 1 readiness, and post-merger system alignment.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives by mapping workflows, identifying gaps, and re-engineering solutions before automation to ensure long-term scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and support integrations across Workday ecosystem tools, independently diagnosing issues and collaborating with technical teams when needed.
  • Develop and implement AI-driven automation opportunities to enhance HR processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Mentor stakeholders and team members on Workday configuration, data models, and best practices to elevate overall system capability.
  • Requirements:

    • 8+ years of hands-on Workday HCM configuration experience in complex, global environments.
    • Deep expertise in Workday Core HCM, including security architecture, data model, and business process framework.
    • Proven experience leading high-impact initiatives such as M&A, system integrations, or large-scale organizational changes.
    • Strong understanding of integration frameworks including EIBs, Studio, Orchestrate, Core Connectors, and APIs, with ability to troubleshoot independently.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Strong project leadership skills with the ability to drive initiatives from design through execution and stabilization.
    • Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., LLMs, automation platforms) to enhance productivity and decision-making.
    • Excellent documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a proactive, systems-oriented mindset.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive base salary range: 137,900 USD – 184,500 USD, plus annual bonus and equity opportunities.
      • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, including employer-paid options and dependent support.
      • Flexible work arrangements with autonomy, flextime, and strong support for work-life balance.
      • Generous parental leave, fertility and adoption support, and family-building benefits.
      • Mental health, wellness, and telehealth resources, including access to leading care platforms.
      • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching contributions.
      • Learning and development programs, leadership training, and internal recognition initiatives.
      • Additional benefits including financial planning tools, legal support services, and pet insurance.
