The Lead Cloud Architect leads the planning, strategy, and management of cloud resources across multiple products, platforms, and business & IT stakeholders. They will work with cloud/domain/solution architects, senior business leaders, and product owners to understand and advance the strategy they are enabling with their products and teams. The Lead Cloud Architect will assess the compatibility and integration of products and technologies proposed as standards, in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent platforms.
In this role, you will lead features and designs for a mature cloud development team to improve the member experience through innovative member communications. Our team is responsible for the data behind marketing campaigns through text, email, mailings, voice, and more. We are delivering value for our business partners by targeting lower latency data as we strive for the best-in-class communication strategies.

Work-At-Home Requirements
WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field.

- Lead architecture strategy across several workstreams
- Ensure team standardization around cloud resources, release pipelines, security, networking, monitoring, and production readiness
- Work with managers, architects, business users, and team members to maintain a deep understanding of the teams' offerings and capabilities
- Research new technologies, processes, and solutions to enhance capabilities across the teams
- Ensure team is following technical guidelines, security needs, and design patterns aligned to enterprise architecture and strategy
- Educate team on best practices and processes
- Drive team's adoption of new tools and techniques
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of technical and development experience
- 2+ years of experience of Agile Project/Product implementation
- 1+ years of experience with Azure cloud services
- 1 or more professional Azure certification (especially Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
- Solution architecture experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Databricks
- Architecture experience integrating with secure cloud networks
- DevOps experience with git repositories and release pipelines
- Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leaders
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

- Experience with Terraform
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Experience with Snowflake
- Experience with APIs
- Experience with GCP
- Experience with PowerShell
