Accountabilities:

As a Lead HR Business Partner, you will act as a strategic advisor to business leaders, helping them build high-performing teams and execute effective people strategies. You will support the full employee lifecycle, provide leadership coaching, and use insights to improve engagement, retention, and organizational health.

  • Partner with business and functional leaders to develop organizational strategies, workforce plans, and talent initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers, supporting leadership effectiveness, team development, and employee engagement.
  • Design and implement people initiatives tailored to the needs of specific teams and business functions.
  • Lead performance management processes, including performance evaluations, talent reviews, promotion calibration, and development planning.
  • Coach managers and employees through career growth, feedback conversations, and complex employee situations.
  • Analyze workforce data, including attrition, engagement metrics, time-off trends, and employee feedback, to identify opportunities and recommend actions.
  • Drive organizational health initiatives through surveys, focus groups, and targeted retention strategies.
  • Support organizational design efforts, workforce planning, and business transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HR centers of excellence to align programs related to career frameworks, rewards, talent development, and internal mobility.
  • Manage sensitive employee relations matters with professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
  • Support recruitment efforts by participating in interviews and helping maintain strong talent standards.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, trust, inclusion, and continuous improvement across teams.
  • Requirements:

    The ideal candidate is an experienced HR Business Partner with a strong background supporting technology-driven organizations. You should have excellent stakeholder management skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to solve complex people challenges through structured thinking and collaboration.

    • 8+ years of experience working as an HR Business Partner or in a similar strategic HR role.
    • Strong experience supporting global Sales, Go-To-Market, Engineering, Product, or technology functions.
    • Previous experience in SaaS, IT products, or fast-growing technology companies is highly preferred.
    • Proven experience managing the complete employee lifecycle, from onboarding through exit processes.
    • Strong coaching experience with managers, senior individual contributors, and leadership teams.
    • Ability to analyze people data and translate insights into actionable business strategies.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with a first-principles approach to complex challenges.
    • Ability to build trust and influence stakeholders across different functions and levels.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences.
    • Strong conflict management skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations constructively.
    • Demonstrated ability to drive results, prioritize effectively, and take ownership of initiatives.
    • Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment with occasional in-person collaboration in Mumbai.
