The Lead Marketing Manager, Events is part of the Spring Health team that executes everything from large, tentpole tradeshows to smaller executive programs to benefits fairs. This role will primarily focus on third party tradeshows and conferences. You will not only need to effectively manage and own the execution events, but also build and manage processes that enable Spring to scale our third party event footprint in a way that is efficient while delivering results. You will own relationships with the necessary vendors to make this possible, work with our creative team to ensure we create memorable event experiences for our customers and members, and manage internal stakeholder relationships to ensure seamless collaboration that drives strong efficacy across teams. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams (e.g. product marketing, sales, customer success) to deliver results. As well as, own communication and regularly present Spring’s tentpole events strategy and results to leadership to ensure that all key stakeholders are fully enabled and briefed on activity. Events are one of the main demand generation channels, so this will be a high visibility with lots of potential for future growth at Spring.
Our team is responsible for turning unaware enterprise customers into aware customers and ultimately contracted customers, and events are a key component of that journey. You will make recommendations on third party events to attend to drive awareness and lead acquisition, create a strategy for a complete customer journey from pre-event to post-event, and set up playbooks for Demand Generation marketing leaders to execute tier 2 and tier 3 third party events. The successful candidate is data-driven, with strong attention to detail and extremely high standards, and able to drive a high number of events in parallel, flawlessly, and on time. You have a passion for processes and strive to continuously simplify and optimize your own work.Â
What you’ll be doing:
- Own the external third party events strategy for Spring Health and the end-to-end event managementÂ
- Effortlessly project manage participation and level sponsorship process, logistics, event staffing, creative development, event enablement, and results
- Proactively annually plan and execute events calendar, budget development and tracking
- Report on performance, and analyze results to evolve event strategy to drive strong efficacy
- Able to manage multiple day-to-day event marketing plans.
- Set up processes and playbooks for Demand Generation marketing managers and members of the field to execute tier 2 & 3 third party events at scale.
- Successfully manage and own vendor relationships.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and contractors.
- Successfully manage third party events budget, including forecasting.
What we expect from you:Â
- 6+ years of experience managing events targeting Enterprise customers.Â
- Success in running a marketing program in a fast-paced business.
- Strong stakeholder management experience; ability to build trusted relationships with relevant internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Understanding of how to leverage digital tools, such as Hubspot, Salesforce, and paid media to deploy marketing campaigns.
- Results-oriented mindset and comfort in analyzing data with an understanding of how to use data to optimize at different stages of the funnel.
- Instinct for what great customer experience looks like in different mediums and an experimental mindset when creating programs.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with tight deadlines.
- Understanding of the HR/Benefits market is a plus.Â
The target salary range for this position is $127,400 - $165,700, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options, benefits, and incentive pay for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
