Lead Toddler Teacher & Pre-K4 Lead Teacher– Pearland, TX 77581

Required activities and responsibilities: (Only apply if you live close to this location and have reliable transportation) We have an immediate opening for a Preschool Teacher Assistant. Schedule would be based on Center needs. • Work collaboratively with family members, a Teacher Assistant, and other staff to achieve positive outcomes for children of all abilities. • Clearly and effectively communicate with children, parents, and staff. • Establish and maintain a safe, healthy learning environment, always including full supervision of children, in accordance with State of Texas Minimum Standards. • Provide classroom experiences that are developmentally, culturally, and age-appropriate for the children served. • Ensure classroom arrangement, materials and displays are organized and conducive to children’s learning. • Document children’s progress through ongoing observation and direct assessment activities; use that data to plan and individualize curriculum. • Collaborate with staff to support families as they implement sound family life practices, extend learning into the home, and meet attendance expectations. • Keep parents informed of program expectations, program activities and their child’s progress. • Complete 20+ hours of professional development each year. • Ensure the facility and equipment are clean, well maintained, and safe always. • Center hours are from 6:15am – 6:30pm M-F. Qualifications: • A passion for impacting the lives of children through educational excellence • Continuous experience in a License Childcare Center • Knowledge of State of Texas Minimum Standards and Best Practices *High School Diploma/GED *Ability to pass Background Check *Good Communication Skills *Fluency in English (written and spoken) *Exemplary references *Experience in licensed childcare facility required Job Type: Full-time Education: • High school or equivalent (Required) Work Location: In person
