Legal Assistant (Not a Remote position)

We are seeking a Legal Assistant with 3-5 years of legal experience to work with in a construction law firm.

Not a remote position

Responsibilities:

• Draft legal court documents, such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, discovery responses and subpoenas.
• Send out correspondence to parties/non-parties.
• Schedule depositions, pre-deposition meetings, meditations, and hearings.
• E-file legal documents in Florida’s E-Portal System.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for trials.
• Prepare Trial Notebooks and Exhibit Lists.
• Complete trial logistic tasks.

Qualifications:
 

• 3-5 years' experience as a legal assistant/legal secretary with a senior partner
• Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, a team player, and a great multitasker
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledgeable with computer programs: Dropbox, Word, Excel & Outlook

Schedule: 8 hour shift: 9AM - 5:30PM 
Salary: $60,000.00 ++ per year
