Machine Learning Researcher - 6 Months Internship

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Machine Learning Researcher-Intern for the Summer and Fall of 2023, focusing on Object Detection and Computer Vision applications. This internship is an excellent opportunity for MS or PhD candidates to gain hands-on experience, take ownership of projects, and contribute to ongoing enhancements of our industry leading Bot mitigation solution..

As a Machine Learning Researcher Intern, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Technical Artists,  Software Engineering, and Product Management, to develop machine learning models, implement solutions, and ensure the successful deployment and maintenance of these models in production.

What you’ll work on:

• Assist in the development, implementation, and optimization of machine learning models and algorithms for Object Detection and Computer Vision applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contribute to the development of solutions.
• Conduct research on cutting-edge techniques and tools in machine learning and Computer Vision.
• Participate in the evaluation of model performance and contribute to improvements ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Document and present project progress, findings, and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What we’re looking for:

• Currently pursuing an MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Knowledge in machine learning, deep learning, and Computer Vision.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Familiarity with data processing tools, such as Pandas and NumPy.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and adapt to new challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning, and Computer Vision.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work through ambiguity.
• Desire to take ownership of projects and contribute to a positive, collaborative, and inclusive team culture
