About the Role

The Accounting Manager leads and manages the daily operations of the accounting team (or a segment of the global team) and optimizes processes as needed. They will collaborate with various cross functional teams in a fast-paced environment, remaining proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching, goal setting, and talent reviews to direct reports.

• Fostering a culture of collaboration and driving the creation and optimization of processes to boost efficiency.

• Assist with Monthly and Quarterly Close: Drive the overall accounting close process in an efficient and effective manner and prepare and manage consolidated flux analysis.

• Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations prepared by the team

• Prepare and review materials for internal and external reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis.

• Attention to detail and proven ability to analyze large amounts of data.

• Partner with other finance functions like Revenue, Tax, FP&A, Treasury functions and the Business for monthly and quarterly close activities.

• Support or manage other ad-hoc projects.

Who You Are

• Comprehensive knowledge and experience with general accounting, international accounting, foreign currency, month end close procedures, eliminations and consolidations, controls, internal reporting & analytics, and working with external auditors.

• Strong technical acumen; US GAAP knowledge, conceptual and practical experience in researching, understanding, and communicating technical accounting issues.

• ERP knowledge is a must and NetSuite is a plus.

• Proactive, results oriented, with a can-do attitude and strict attention to detail in meeting critical deadlines.

• Experience leading teams and developing talent.

• International experience and prior experience in managing global financial monthly close process.

• Ability to work on cross functional activities and form solid business relationships.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel.

Minimum Qualifications

• 6+ years of accounting experience

• Proven experience in improving processes and controls

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or CPA candidate is preferred
