About the role

Reporting to our Vice President of Customer Success & Support Operations, the Manager, CSS PMO will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of Program and Project Managers responsible for executing both short-term initiatives as well as key long-term programs focused on improving both customer and employee experience. You will support our org-wide transformation efforts in developing and owning change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage of required changes. The Manager, CSS PMO will oversee the overall change roadmap within Customer Success and Support, ensuring projects, programs and initiatives can be delivered on time and on budget to maximize ROI. The Manager, CSS PMO acts with integrity, leads by example and serves as the primary point of contact for the CSS PMO org to ensure the appropriate resources and controls are in place for successful planning and execution. 

 

A typical day will include...

  • Coaching your team of PMs to ensure consistent high-quality execution of Customer Success and Support PMO deliverables

  • Working closely with project owners and cross functional teams, consulting and coaching them to execute large scale initiatives against scope, schedule and budget

  • Leveraging change management methodologies, process, and tools to create and execute on strategies to enable adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative

  • Supporting communications efforts by enabling the design, development, delivery and management of key communications

  • Proactively conducting impact and risk analysis, assessing change readiness and engaging stakeholders in mitigating risk and overcoming barriers to adoption

  • Leading the project planning activities, managing the overall change roadmap for Customer Success and Support, identifying overlaps and gaps and proactively communicating to leadership issues before they arise

  • Preparing and presenting internal status reports to various stakeholders

  • Driving continuous improvement for the Customer Success & Support PMO’s methodology and best practices. This includes standardized processes, tools, templates and techniques that benefit project delivery teams

  • Facilitating project team meetings and following up with decisions made and next steps; updating status/progress reports

 

This role is a fit for you if...

  • You have a proven track record of 2-4 years of managing project/program management teams

  • You have a solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process and have experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.

  • You have a talent for clearly articulating messages to a variety of audiences in any channel

  • You are passionate about coaching people toward adopting and executing on change and exhibit an ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.

  • You are organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics with a knack for problem solving and getting things done

  • You are a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others at all levels of the organization, from individual contributor up to the C-level.

  • You are skilled in project management best practices (e.g., PMBOK, Schedule Mgmt, Risk/Issue Mgmt, Scope Mgmt, WBS, etc.) including experience with project scheduling tools

  • You have a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on-time, within budget, with high quality and high adoption rates

Bonus Points for…

  • Staffing industry experience and knowledge of associated applications

  • Familiarity with B2B SaaS Customer Success and Support Methodologies

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (or other PM certifications)

  • Change management certification or designation

  • Experience with multiple development methodologies (e.g., waterfall, agile, iterative/hybrid, etc.)

  • Experience with Monday.com

  • JIRA experience
