CrowdStrike Falcon LogScale, is a platform changing the way people think about advanced log management and streaming observability to empower Security, DevOps, ITOps, and more. The CrowdStrike Managed Services team is looking for a highly motivated, self-driven, technically capable Manager dedicated to leading teams who make a difference in global security by providing custom tailored Log Management expertise and engineering to customers.

The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $115,000 - $170,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. What You'll Do:
Under the guidance of the teams global Director, a Falcon Complete LogScale Manager is expected to be responsible for three key areas:
- Business and People Management
- Motivate and lead a multi-disciplinary team of highly talented advisors and architects.
- Provide guidance, development and management for those advisors and architects on your team.
- Oversee implementation of strategic initiatives whilst delegating appropriately and developing others.
- Develop and improve processes for workload management, project management.
- Manage Falcon Complete LogScale business outcomes to align with strategic objectives.
- Engage across internal CrowdStrike stakeholders effectively to ensure customer and capability issues are fully addressed.
- Assist with long-term operational strategy development, planning and execution.
- Project Management
- Be responsible and accountable for customer focused project management and delivery of Falcon LogScale administration/configuration, data onboarding, parsers, search queries, dashboards, and alerts.
- Create and manage projects and activities that align with the Falcon Complete LogScale mission and goals.
- Technical Engineering Leadership
- Provide code reviews and quality assurance reviews for LogScale administration/configuration, data onboarding, parsers, search queries, dashboards, and alerts.
- Lead the delivery of log management, scoping, engineering and development across multiple industries and verticals using a content-as-code approach with scalable CI/CD pipelines.
What You'll Need:
Successful candidates will have experience in many of the following areas:
- Management experience, or evidence to show capacity to be effective as a manager.
- 6+ years of experience working with log management/SIEM solutions (Splunk, Elastic, QRadar, Arcsight, Sumo Logic, LogRhythm, Exabeam Data Lake, etc) in a professional services or similar capacity.
- Exposure or prior experience with Falcon LogScale (formerly known as Humio).
- Knowledge of log management skills and best practices related to log analysis, data onboarding, parsers, search queries, dashboards, and alerts.
- Understanding of log management use cases around security, observability, DevOps, IT ops, and/or business operations.
- Familiarization with content-as-code, infrastructure-as-code, and scalable CI/CD deployment and other DevOps tooling and methods (i.e. Agile, Kanban).
- Experience developing documentation and transferring knowledge of deployments to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Experience translating your knowledge of customer requirements and experiences into feedback for product and engineering teams.
- Strong English written and oral communication skills.
- Strong problem solving, project management and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle high pressure situations in a productive and professional manner.
Education
BA or BS / MA or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, Information Security, Information Security Management, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
