Job Description
As the Manager of Revenue FP&A for the Dropbox organization, you will bring thought leadership and business partnering to senior executives in our Product and Finance organizations. In this highly visible role, you will evaluate new business initiatives and potential investments, analyze business performance, and present strategic recommendations to senior management with a constant focus on growth opportunities. This position provides a unique opportunity to help set the strategic trajectory for Dropbox’s largest revenue segment, while working with various stakeholders across the organization. The ideal candidate will have the business maturity to set ambitious goals and the intellectual horsepower to derive deep, data-driven insights that will help realize those goals.
Responsibilities- Own the topline financial models for Dropbox. Manage strategic planning including business modeling, target setting, topline guidance setting, and prioritization of strategic initiatives.
- In partnership with the Product leadership team, you will help shape business strategy and priorities across the organization, subsequently driving accountability for execution and results.
- Build and maintain strong, cross-functional relationships with senior leadership, bringing new thinking and ways of doing things to the function. As appropriate, including analyzing and pushing new metrics and performance indicators to help identify trends.
- Continually improve processes, lead change, and elevate the level of reporting and analysis generated to support the Product leadership team.
- Collaborate with other FP&A leaders to drive continuous scale and efficiency to our forecasting and reporting processes.
- Lead a high-performing team of financial analysts, data scientists and financial managers by setting goals and helping people succeed in their careers.
- Partner with Corporate Development to perform financial due diligence and integrate key metrics for future M&A.
- Extensive experience partnering with senior leadership both in a Finance and cross-functional capacity. You are able to influence decisions at the highest level within a collaborative and team-centric culture.
- Sound business judgment with the ability to clearly communicate business insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Highly focused with the ability to create and develop ad-hoc financial modeling & analysis quickly to provide meaningful insights & recommendations.
- Proactive and self-motivated to solve problems; comfortable with a high degree of responsibility in ambiguous situations.
- Track record of leading, growing, and developing high-performing teams, with a focus on hands-on development and coaching.
- You are energized by a challenge, are forward-thinking, credible, and dedicated to producing high quality work.
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience at a leading tech company, with a background in SaaS strongly preferred.
