Manager, Strategy & Operations

About the team

Angi is seeking a strategic and analytical Manager to join its Large Pro Strategy & Operations team focused on identifying, developing, and executing growth strategies across one of its key verticals, Home Exterior (i.e. roofing, siding, windows).

The Manager will work directly with VPs of Large Pro Sales, Account Managers, and the Large Pro Strategy & Ops team in a unique opportunity to help lay the foundation for growth with top customers. In this role, you are expected to leverage internal and external datasets to assess the health of top customer relationships, evaluate customer pain points, and establish expertise on the drivers and dynamics of your vertical.  Leveraging these insights, you will make recommendations and drive strategic initiatives – including new deal/contract structures, targeted business development and marketing efforts, and product enhancements – to grow large partnerships and meet or exceed vertical growth targets.

What you’ll do

• Executing Home Exterior strategy.  You will support the Large Pro team in implementing its Home Exterior vertical strategy by developing vertical expertise, identifying key customer, product, and marketing levers to drive profitable growth for the business, and collaborating with the relevant stakeholders to execute key initiatives.
• Driving expansion and growth with top customers. You will assess customer pain points, determine key blockers to growth among top relationships, assess customer performance, and drive growth strategies within our most important relationships. 
• Interfacing with top partners. You will meet with top customers to understand their business objectives and pain points.  You will consult customers on vertical dynamics and best practices, support co-marketing and other collaborative initiatives, and develop and assess alternative contract structures geared towards aligning incentives and driving growth.
• Analyzing and measuring impact. You will develop analytical tools/approaches to assess the performance of implemented initiatives, document lessons learned during analysis and implementation, and communicate best practices to relevant stakeholders to drive improved efficiency in future initiatives.

Who you are

• 3+ years of professional experience in a rigorous field, with a track record of success
• Ambitious, with a desire to learn and grow rapidly
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficient in PowerPoint / Google Slides
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to develop data-driven recommendations to drive business decision making
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners and ability to work independently to drive key initiatives forward 
• Management consulting experience at a top firm strongly preferred
• An interest in Angi, home services, marketplaces and / or product-driven organizations

• The salary band for this position is commensurate with experience and performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as cost of living.
