What you will do

  • Serves as a senior manager for a technology-focused consulting practice (e.g. Data/Database, Security, Network, Product, Technical Architecture); primarily responsible for selling and managing the delivery of the organization's professional services.
  • Develops market strategies and plans and executes them to develop profitable practices.
  • Manages assigned consultants within the practice and assesses their performance and development.
  • Has oversight responsibility for several very large engagements. Ensures that practice profit objectives, sales targets, utilization and revenue goals are met.
  • Builds strategic partnerships with current and prospective clients. Contributes thought leadership in chosen discipline and understanding of client business. Establishes and articulates innovations and growth opportunities for clients and the company.
  • Influences decisions and project direction at the executive level.
  • Develops compelling proposal strategies and win themes; participates in sales pursuits.
  • Identifies sales leads through established networks.
  • Presents to large size groups of key decision makers at the executive level; develops and communicates vision and purpose, encourages contribution and support from others. Contributes to proposal orals and national or regional events.
  • Manages the personnel activites (hires, trains, evaluates, motivates, rewards, disciplines, etc.) of the practice to facilitate operations and retention of key personnel.
  • Prepares and recommends operating and personnel budgets for approval. Monitors spending for adherence to budget, recommends variances as necessary.

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Master's degree in business administration or related field preferred
  • Twelve or more years of industry or client relationship experience
  • Seven or more years of relevant consulting experience included
  • Eight or more years of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Experience working with concepts, practices, and procedures in areas of responsibilities
  • Experience working with management implications of various forms of financial data
  • Experience selling and delivering solutions to multi-national clients

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $140,800 - $261,400.
