This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manufacturing Operator (Paint, Coatings, Chemicals) based in the United States.

This hands-on manufacturing role is essential to ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality production of coatings and chemical-based products in an industrial environment.
You will operate a variety of production equipment, including pumps, agitators, mixers, scales, and filtration systems, while ensuring strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
The position plays a key role in maintaining continuous production flow through accurate batching, charging, labeling, and equipment handling activities.
You will work in a structured, team-oriented environment where precision, safety, and operational discipline are critical to success.
The role involves both physical production tasks and computer-controlled system operation in a fast-paced facility.
You will contribute directly to product quality, process efficiency, and overall plant performance.

Accountabilities:

  • Operate and monitor production equipment such as pumps, agitators, shakers, scales, viscosity tools, and filtration systems in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform tank charging and material handling for vessels ranging from small batches to large-scale 500-gallon systems.
  • Conduct equipment washing, cleaning, and sanitation of tanks, piping, pumps, and loading systems to maintain operational standards.
  • Execute daily calibrations of scales and support accurate measurement and batching processes.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and production instructions to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Handle labeling, documentation, and compliance requirements aligned with customer specifications and DOT regulations.
  • Operate computer-controlled manufacturing equipment and monitor system outputs for quality assurance.
  • Perform routine housekeeping and participate in plant cleanup and audit readiness activities.
  • Assist with basic maintenance tasks, equipment changeouts, and process continuity support.
  • Support training of new or less experienced team members as needed.

  • Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred.
    • Ability to safely handle hazardous materials while using required PPE (gloves, masks, protective suits, safety shoes, etc.).
    • Strong ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions and SOPs.
    • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and ability to calculate ratios, percentages, and interpret simple graphs.
    • Comfortable operating computer-controlled equipment and learning new systems quickly.
    • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive movements including climbing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
    • Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail in a regulated production environment.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team-based, structured manufacturing setting.
    • Previous experience with forklifts or material handling equipment is a plus.
