Market Research Associate

Job description Who We Are Executive Insight Properties is a retail facing market intelligence and publishing firm. Our market research wing supports various vendors in keeping their sales teams up to date on positional changes, updating CRM databases and generally creating a helpful viewpoint on the sweep of our industries. We operate in a variety of verticals, including Pet, Grocery, Candy, House & Home and CBD. About the Position The Research Associate will work mostly with qualitative data, while quantitative opportunities will arise. Research Associates supports both the editorial & entire research team in an array of projects. You will be a key component of growing the company and have ample opportunity to develop new skills and products. Primary Responsibilities ·Data Collection– Manage ad-hoc research projects. Projects vary from independent secondary research to primary research where you will be connecting directly with retail professionals via phone calls and email to create data for the topic on hand. ·Database Management– Manage our centralized database with accurate information that feeds additional projects. ·Data Cleaning– Coordination of maintaining, updating, and adding new data into the system. Being able to do all three with a detail focus approach is a critical function for this role. ·Report Generation– Identify and interpret trends which can then be developed into meaningful summaries for key customers and internal editorial team. ·Data Visualization– Create appealing and useful visualizations for our partners. Experience with Power BI is a plus Qualifications · Strong skills/experience using Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, Word & Outlook) is required · Willingness to make phone calls · Comfort with managing fluctuating details around various records This role provides a unique opportunity to dive in to multiple industries, while working directly with influentials across the retail landscape.
