The Role:Ā
StackCommerce is looking for a marketing generalist to help support the next phase of growth for Stacksocial.com - a leading ecommerce deal site.Ā The role will stretch across our paid channels (e.g., Facebook, Google, TikTok, Affiliate), CRM program and special projects (e.g., new channels tests, partnerships).Ā While you may directly manage programs from time to time, the role will vary based on current needs/ business opportunities.Ā The role is a great opportunity for someone who has deep exposure in one channel and is looking to broaden their experience into a full ecommerce/ digital marketing tool kit.Ā Ā
What You'll Do:
- Assess and evaluate new projects (e.g., build business cases, conduct market assessments)Ā Ā
- Incubate new opportunities and paths to market (e.g., assess new channels, test viability of consumer facing offerings)Ā
- Conduct analytic deep dives based on business healthĀ
- Build and evolve cross channel reporting and dashboarding in partnership with channel owners and Business Intelligence
- Take directly responsibility for channel or program management as needed on an interim basisĀ
- Track and monitor competitive activity and approaches (e.g., paid advertising, email programs, site experience, pricing and promotional stances) - make recommendations and program improvements based on findingsĀ
What You'll Bring:
- 4-8 years of digital marketing experience
- Understanding of direct response paid media required (i.e., balancing investment and return at granular levels, key levers and growth drivers.Ā Deep knowledge in a single or select set of channels preferred (e.g., operated/ managed Google Ads/ Facebook ads)Ā
- Understanding of email programs required (e.g., email funnel, segmentation, stages of email development).Ā Direct channel management preferredĀ Ā
- Strong analytic toolkit required (e.g., extreme comfort in excel, can assess tests for statistical significance), deeper knowledge in data structure, manipulation and visualization preferred (with an emphasis on Looker)Ā
- Familiarity with brand building principles preferredĀ (i.e., you donāt need to be a brand marketer but knowing what they do is preferred), setting or upholding brand guidelines is a nice plusĀ
- A growth mindset and a love for bringing structure to ambiguityĀ
What to Expect:
- Intro Call: Youāll hop on a quick call with the hiring manager so we can get to know you better ā and you can learn a little more about the role.Ā
- Remote Interviews: Youāll be meeting with 2-3 team members on separate video calls. This is your chance to ask questions and see who this role interacts with on a daily basis.
- Final Video Call: This is a great opportunity to get to know one of our senior executives over video.

Compensation:
Our overall compensation and rewards package includes base pay, bonus or commission, and a variety of benefits. Base pay is determined within a range that allows you the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.Ā The anticipated annualized salary range for this role is $93,428 - $132,071 (this range may be modified in the future based on changing market conditions).Ā Your initial base pay will be determined based on several factors, including demonstrated skills, relevant education or training, experience, qualifications, travel requirements, and job location.
