PagerDuty is looking for a Marketing Operations Specialist (MarTech) to support the day-to-day, hands-on execution of lead routing automation and data hygiene efforts in alignment with company objectives. We are looking for high-energy candidates keen to grow and inclined toward technology and the best way to optimize complex systems. This is a strategic and highly visible role, requiring partnering with both external and internal teams, including Marketing and various Sales and Leadership roles. You will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and reporting of routing in Leandata. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing Operations, and working closely with members of the Sales and Marketing team, you will leverage your understanding of marketing automation best practices and apply them to the execution of best-in-class programs. The role requires the ability to analyze complex business processes and provide technical solutions to meet business needs.Â
How you impact our vision:- Collaborate with other Marketing Operations team members on optimizing the Pagerduty MarTech stack as well as program segmentations and implement best practices in database and contact management to increase data integrity and market reach across geographies.
- Implement scalable data hygiene and routing best practices and ensure proper end-to-end testing of programs prior to launch.
- Support the optimization and QA of established lead management processes, account-to-sales mapping strategy, and workflows.
- Embrace a test-and-learn mindset; dig for actionable insight within data by applying response analysis, A/B testing, and best practices to optimize all aspects of programs.
- Proactively monitor Lead routing performance and deliver insights and optimization recommendations to program stakeholdersÂ
- Analyze complex business and system processes to build detailed Business Requirements Documents, Process Flows, Project Plans, and more
- Lead technical implementations involving working across multiple personas, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and SFDC Development
- Work closely with internal and client development teams to analyze technical impacts in our complex Salesforce environment
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities during implementation, and manage stakeholders to ensure risks are mitigated, and opportunities are actioned on
- Engage in day-to-day communications with sales and marketing at all levels to ensure we are maximizing the LeanData platform possibilities andÂ
- Strategically leverage feedback to influence the MarTech Tool roadmap
- 2-5 years of experience in a B2B marketing environment
- Experience working in a marketing organization that provides qualified leads to a B2B sales team and tracks results across all stages of the sales cycle/funnel
- 2+ years of proven track record of building and executing marketing automation programs ( Marketo preferred). Marketo Certified Expert is a plus!Â
- 2+ years of experience in Salesforce.com experience, including building campaigns and monitoring lead routing, data hygiene, and integration processes. Leandata Certified is a plus!
- Demonstrated strength in collaborating with cross-functional peers and leaders
- Firm grasp of marketing automation implementation best practices
- Experience working with Agile project management tools (Jira, Asana)
- Excellent written and verbal skills, time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proven track record leading stakeholder engagements with demonstrated ability to understand technical concepts, guide strategy, and deliver positive results for stakeholders
- Ability to understand and deconstruct technical products and platforms
- Experiencing managing customer implementations across multiple stakeholders
- Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, and highly organized
