Marketplace Researcher

About The Role

Remote Marketplace Researcher will utilize the internet to answer college admissions-related questions asked by our Empowerly families. While are expected to meet their deadlines, they will have the freedom to choose their own schedule.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research regarding college admissions and extracurricular opportunities for high school students
• Create organized, personalized data sets for each request, clearly communicating your findings via professional emails
• Work collaboratively with the Research Manager, Product Team, and Empowerly families to perform research; with the opportunity to break into the Product field if original tasks are completed early

Requirements

• Familiarity with the U.S. college admissions system
• Excellent command of written English
• Reliably responsive via email and Slack during chosen work hours
• Capable of working professionally in a virtual environment
• Willingness to take the adequate time (.5-3 hours) to research each family’s request, and, if necessary, think adaptively in order to find and present alternative opportunities
