• Work in a safe manner at all times and report any unsafe conditions to your supervisor in order that the situation can be corrected. 
• Report all accidents and near misses in a timely manner when they occur.
• Oversee daily inventory movements and scheduling ensuring accurate and efficient materials management across the facility.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through rigorous data management auditing and process improvements using the QAD ERP system.
• Serve as the primary interface for customer Materials Planning and Logistics (MPL) concerns promptly addressing inquiries and resolving issues to ensure superior customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and achieve departmental KPIs related to inventory management scheduling accuracy and customer responsiveness.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for continuous improvement in MPL processes.
• Champion the plan for every part process driving ownership and alignment across teams to ensure that each component is managed with precision.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production engineering and supply chain teams to optimize material flow and support operational goals.
• Analyze process efficiency and identify opportunities for cost reductions waste elimination and enhanced service levels.
• Ensure compliance with safety quality and regulatory requirements in all materials management activities.
• Lead mentor and develop a high-performing materials team fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Prepare regular reports on inventory status performance metrics and improvement initiatives for senior management review.
• Understand how the physical manufacturing processes link to the digital processes enabling seamless integration and data fidelity throughout operations.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) processes leveraging technology to drive real-time visibility traceability and operational excellence.
