Media Strategy Manager
Job Description
We’re looking for a Media Strategy Manager to lead the development and delivery of integrated media strategies across paid, owned and earned channels. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, planning, and execution — partnering closely with creative, data, and buying teams to drive meaningful business outcomes for our clients.
You’ll be responsible for translating business and brand objectives into clear media recommendations, overseeing media planning, and ensuring performance is measured and optimised against agreed success metrics.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development of integrated media strategies across paid (online and offline), owned, and earned channels
- Build clear media recommendations aligned to business objectives, audience insights, and creative strategy
- Oversee the end‑to‑end media planning process, from briefing through to execution and optimisation
- Partner closely with media buying, creative, analytics, and client teams to ensure strong delivery
- Manage and interpret media performance and business metrics, translating results into clear insights and actions
- Support client relationships by presenting media strategies, performance updates, and recommendations with confidence
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for innovation, testing, and learning across channels
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience in media strategy, media planning, or communications planning, ideally within an agency or consultancy environment
- Strong understanding of paid digital and offline media channels, with working knowledge of owned and earned ecosystems
- Ability to connect media strategy to broader brand, creative, and commercial objectives
- Experience working with data and performance metrics to evaluate media effectiveness
- Confident stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to clients or senior internal teams
- Strong collaboration skills and comfort working in multidisciplinary teams
- Clear, structured communication style and attention to detail
