About the Team:Netlify Account Managers are responsible for the overall health, retention and growth of our customers. They partner closely with key customer stakeholders (often web development and developer operations teams) and the broader Netlify org - including Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product and Support.
As an Account Manager for our Mid-Market customers, part of your role will be to increase account revenue through deep customer engagement, exploration of new use cases, and expanding to new teams within the account. You will work cross-functionally internally to provide guidance to customers on how to best leverage Netlify to drive business and technical objectives - and will be the primary owner for the post-sales portion of the customer journey.
Due to the client facing nature of this role, we will be prioritizing candidates in or around the London area at this time.
What You'll Do:- Be a trusted business advisor to customers’ teams for all things Netlify, including Engineering Leadership, Web Developers, Developer Operations, Finance, Legal, and Procurement.
- Develop and execute long-term account strategies across our Mid-Market customers to grow Netlify usage and delight customers.
- Manage contract renewals and lead commercial negotiations for expansions (including upsells, license expansions, and expanding to new teams within an account)
- Accurately forecast and deliver consistently against monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals
- Drive customer feedback into our Product org to help prioritize the road map for our best customers’ needs.
- 3-5+ years of experience in a Sales, Consulting, or Business Development in a technical environment (e.g. working with developers and their supporting teams)
- Strong desire to learn about Netlify’s platform and modern web development technologies
- Ability to exceed customer expectations through responsiveness and insightful handling of day to day customer challenges.
- Excitement to work with innovative businesses on modern web strategies - we’re helping the internet evolve and you’ll be a core part of our mission!
- High level of situational- and business-judgement and proven ability to navigate hyper growth markets.
- Our customers are often Software Engineering Leaders, Product Managers, Front-end Developers, and line-of-business owners. You must love taking a consultative approach with many different personas.

At Netlify, we are committed to equal pay for equal work. Our base compensation for this role is targeted at £58,000 - £79,000 for UK-based locations (there would be a variable compensation component in addition). Netlify anchors our compensation philosophy on a market-based approach, therefore salary ranges may differ depending on the cost of labor in a particular location. For example, the top of the range reflects the highest paying market in the UK and above range for many UK cities. In addition to robust benefits, participation in Netlify’s equity plan, and incentive pay/commission for eligible roles. The starting pay will be determined based on multiple factors, including expertise and skills, market demands, experience, internal equity, and applicable geographic location. These compensation packages and ranges are subject to change and may be modified in the future.
