Mobile Engineering Manager

About the Role:

As a Mobile Engineering Manager at Angi, you'll have the chance to enhance and improve our Pro application for our Service Professionals. Our goal is to provide the best-in-class app experiences to our service professions to drive value and provide them with the best tools to build their business.

This position is 100% remote.

What you'll do:

• Lead a robust and innovative team of iOS and Android Engineers – growing people as you grow our business and technology 
• Deliver products that help our service professionals complete jobs efficiently while owning your team’s code and deliverables beyond their deployment 
• Partner with Product, QA and UX counterparts to continuously evaluate the best way to deliver short-term and long-term solutions 
• Foster a positive, supportive, and fun work environment while providing opportunity for team members to try new roles and take on new responsibilities 
• Give constructive feedback and coach teammates through 1:1 meetings, code reviews, and professional growth plans
• Encourage a collaborative environment for you and your teammates to deliver high-quality, reliable, and well-tested features

Who you are:

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
• Experience leading a full stack mobile application team through either a manager or team lead capacity
• At least 6 years of hands-on mobile development experience for iOS (Swift) and/or Android (Kotlin/Java) applications
• Strong experience with native application development
• Ability to work with and effectively communicate across multiple technical and non-technical teams to deliver solutions
• Open to coaching and possessing a desire for personal and professional growth

Preferred Experience:

• Experience providing architectural & engineering expertise in all areas of mobile application development and delivery
• Test Driven Development experience
• Full stack web development experience in Java, Scala, Ruby on Rails, or other modern object oriented languages
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery mechanisms
• Designing new systems/ features from scratch and adapting legacy design

Compensation & Benefits:  

• The salary band for this position ranges from $150,000 - $230,000, commensurate with experience and performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as cost of living.
