Team: Account Executive

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a National Account Manager, Sales Development based in Canada.

This role is a high-impact, client-facing position focused on managing and expanding strategic national accounts within the Canadian market. You will act as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, driving revenue growth through consultative selling and long-term relationship building. The position combines strategic planning with hands-on execution across the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing complex deals. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and exceptional customer experience. This is a dynamic environment where data-driven decision-making, market insight, and stakeholder management are key to success. The role offers the opportunity to influence large-scale accounts and contribute directly to business growth in a competitive, evolving market.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for national accounts in Canada, identifying growth opportunities and long-term expansion potential.
  • Manage the full enterprise sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, negotiation, closing, and post-sale engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers and senior stakeholders across assigned accounts.
  • Analyze customer needs and design tailored solutions aligned with their business objectives and operational priorities.
  • Forecast pipeline activity and maintain accurate reporting on account performance, revenue projections, and key sales metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (product, marketing, customer success, and operations) to ensure smooth onboarding and account retention.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts to maximize revenue growth.
  • Monitor market trends, customer landscape, and competitor activity to refine account strategy and positioning.
  • Maintain detailed CRM records and provide consistent updates to leadership on account status and progress.
  • Requirements:

    • 8+ years of experience in national or enterprise account management within a consultative or solution-based sales environment.
    • Proven track record of managing large-scale accounts and consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
    • Strong expertise in sales development, pipeline management, and account-based selling methodologies.
    • Advanced proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools for data-driven decision-making.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels.
    • Ability to analyze complex client needs and translate them into strategic, tailored solutions.
    • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams while maintaining autonomy in managing a portfolio.
    • Experience in sales forecasting, performance reporting, and strategic account planning.
    • Fluency in English required; French proficiency is a strong asset for the Canadian market.
    • Experience with Canadian accounts or North American enterprise clients is highly valued.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred.
