Open Source JavaScript/TypeScript SDK Developer - Developer Tooling Team (m/f/x)

Our software development kit (SDK) team is looking for a software engineer to help improve and expand our JavaScript and TypeScript SDK running in Node.js or a browser. You will work within the client team across all commerce APIs. In addition to that you are contributing to our Open Source libraries and offerings. Your team will include a Product Manager along with developers working on other SDKs. Even more important than your technical qualification: You want to join (and learn from) a skilled agile team that believes in having fun, giving back to the community and collaborating in an open supportive environment! Sounds good?

• Minimum two years of experience with Node.js and TypeScript in browser or JavaScript in production
• Solid understanding of APIs and related technologies such as REST, GraphQL and ideally OAuth
• Good experience using CLIs (Command Line Interfaces) with Node.js
• Experience working within an Agile environment while taking customer focus
• Experience in working with Continuous Integration systems (preferably Circle CI/Github Actions)
• Ensuring software quality and allowing automatic release process
• Mentality to share and the drive to constantly improve yourself and learn new technologies
• Fluent English to work in an international environment

Nice-to-have:

• Knowledge or experience in working on Open Source with processes and technologies involved
• Knowledge of JVM/Kotlin
• Willingness to conduct internal training sessions about our SDKs
