Title: Oracle ERP Delivery Lead
You Are:
A talented and highly motivated senior level resource with at least 15+ year history of delivering and selling consulting and technology services. You’re a problem-solver with the keen ability to diagnose a client’s unique needs. You can see the gap between where they are and where they need to be with Oracle Cloud solutions. You bring deep experience leading Finance transformation initiatives and helping organizations modernize financial operations through Oracle Cloud solutions.
Role Summary: Responsible for acting as the Lead on Oracle ERP Cloud implementation projects, providing direction as the subject matter expert. The Oracle ERP Team Lead will lead the project team members throughout the project lifecycle and ensure quality of work and deadlines are met. Responsible for working with the Cloud Implementation Project Manager to plan and schedule all technical development activities to meet defined scope and milestones, while identifying and leading new business opportunities to grow our ERP practice.
- The resource must have skills in Oracle Cloud with a working knowledge of SaaS, PaaS and IaaS.
- Executive presence and existing relationships with client CxO and other SVP level positions at Canadian companies
- Attract new business by creating thoughtful proposals and building strong Oracle client relationships
- Experience in delivering complex solutions for large clients on Oracle technologies in a Delivery Executive / Delivery Lead capacity.
- Must have worked in Global Delivery model leveraging onshore and offshore workforces.
- Business Process acumen required in areas like Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Budgeting and Forecasting, Order to Cash, Hire to Retire, Project Management and Execution, Supply Chain Management, Customer Experience.
- Experience in originating new sales opportunities, progressing opportunities through the sales process, and through to closure/contract signing.
- Ability to demonstrate presentation skills and story-telling.
- Ability to manage and mentor the careers of several resources and serve as a people manager.
- Walk clients through digital transformations, help them find operational efficiency and new revenue streams (e.g., Journey to Oracle cloud, build Oracle roadmap)
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership
- Supporting business development opportunities to bring innovative technology solutions and ways of working to clients.
- End-to-End Delivery: Lead Oracle Cloud implementations (Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Hire to Retire, Order to Cash, Project Management and Execution, Supply Chain Management, Customer Experience), ensuring scope, budget, schedule, and quality are met while enabling business transformation and value realization.
- Program Governance & Leadership: Establish governance models, lead Steering Committees, and maintain oversight of RAID logs, change control, and quality reviews.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Manage diverse teams across functional, technical, and change management workstreams. Coach and mentor consultants to elevate delivery quality and client satisfaction.
- Risk Mitigation & Escalation Management: Anticipate project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and act as the escalation point for client and delivery issues.
- Executive Presence: Ability to confidently engage, influence, and build trust with senior leaders.
- Storytelling & Communication: Skilled at conveying complex technical solutions through clear, persuasive business narratives.
- Deal-Oriented Mindset: Experience in structuring, negotiating, and closing large-scale transformation deals.
- Leadership: Adept at motivating cross-functional teams and fostering a high-performance delivery culture.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to align delivery with broader business outcomes and client transformation agendas.
Here’s What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of ERP program delivery leadership experience, including at least 5 years leading Oracle Cloud complex implementations.
- Demonstrated experience leading Finance transformation initiatives and Oracle Financials Cloud implementations for large organizations.
- Experience delivering Oracle Cloud solutions within the Public Sector.
- Strong understanding of Finance business processes including Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Budgeting, Financial Reporting, Financial Controls, and Compliance.
- Proven success managing multi-million-dollar programs ($5M–$50M) and working with global teams.
Bonus Points If:
- You have MBA, CPA and/or Oracle Cloud Certifications
- Previous roles managing Global programs
- Industry experience in sectors such as Public Sector, Utilities, Resources, Insurance and Financial Services
