Job Summary
Drive awareness, engagement and adoption of changes impacting stakeholders of organizational change efforts. Responsible for leading the design, development, and execution of comprehensive change management strategies for initiatives across the organization. Consult with leaders in aligning desired organizational changes to business strategy and engaging stakeholders in effective transition from current state to future state.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Apply structured methodologies to execute change management strategy and activities for organizational change initiatives. Maintain and enhance change management tools and processes.
- Consult with leaders and project team members to identify broad organizational impacts of business initiatives. Drive the development and delivery of actionable change management deliverables, including but not limited to communication, training, cultural readiness, organizational design, adoption and leadership alignment.
- Conduct assessments to ensure cultural and organizational readiness for a variety of changes impacting people, technology, processes, strategy or other key business functions.
- Apply strong working knowledge of business initiatives to identify potential risks or points of resistance. Work closely with leadership, Human Resources, and Corporate Communications partners to develop and execute plans to mitigate or address concerns.
- Develop and maintain trusted and highly effective working relationships with key leaders and change agents across the organization. Provide consulting and coaching to help increase organizational capability for change. Educate and enable business and project team leaders in deploying change management principles and best practices.
Experience and Education Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business Management or other related field required
- 5 years direct experience in an organizational change management delivery role
- Consulting experience in a large, strategic consultancy or firm specializing in organizational performance, change management, talent management or human capital consulting preferred
- Change Management Certification preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Deep knowledge and demonstrated application of change management principles, practices, methodologies and tools
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with a variety of different individuals including executive leadership and PMO resources
- Exceptional presentation, facilitation, written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to develop compelling messaging for diverse audiences
- Able to work collaboratively in a team environment, with proven ability to build strong relationships and deliver effective consulting and coaching
- High degree of integrity and ability to handle confidential matters and sensitive situations with discretion
- Ability to successfully navigate within varying degrees of ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with high level of attention to detail
- Proficient with business productivity tools (e.g. MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint)
