Our outpatient services include the well-established Piedmont Psychiatric Center and our new Piedmont Psychiatric Adult Urgent Care, opened in fall of 2024, offers timely support for those in crisis.

Piedmont Psychiatric Center (PPC), in beautiful Lynchburg, VA, is seeking a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to joining its growing team.

The outpatient center is located on the historic Virginia Baptist Hospital (VBH) campus, which is surrounded by 50-year-old magnolia and oak trees on rolling hills, beautiful flowering landscaping, and punctuated by the hospital’s three-story white columns. This Centra practice is part of Archetype Health, a Population Health Services Organization (PHSO) that develops partnerships within the community. Our Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) and Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) develop these partnerships to control costs, improve quality of care and improve overall patient experience.

You Can Expect

Schedule M-F, 8am-5pm, closed weekends and holidays
Includes Unique Participation in Rotation to New Adult Psychiatric Urgent Care 1/5-6 shift 9am-6pm
Call 1:14, mostly telecall
Multidisciplinary team of Psychiatrists, PMHNPs, LPCs, LCSWs, and other Mental Health professionals
Avg Volume18-20/day

Requirements

M.S. in Nursing required
Psychiatry and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) required.
Current Virginia State Board of Nursing License as a Nurse Practitioner, prescriptive authority

Total Compensation range is $150K-$170K includes base+incentives+production
$10K Sign-On Bonus
Up to $15,000 relocation reimbursement
