Outpatient Staff Pharmacist PRN (Ongoing Need) Location: East Palo Alto CA

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. We are seeking anexperienced California-licensed Staff Pharmacistfor PRN coverage in an outpatient pharmacy setting. This role will provide ongoing coverage as needed, including vacation coverage for regular staff.Flexibilityis key, as shifts may vary within the pharmacys operating hours. Schedule: • MondayFriday, with possible weekends • Hours: Anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Responsibilities: • Accurately dispense prescription medications and provide patient counseling • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care • Review and verify prescription orders for accuracy and appropriateness • Maintain accurate patient medication histories and records • Oversee inventory management, ordering, and restocking medications • Advise customers on over-the-counter products and health-related questions • Address patient inquiries and resolve concerns • Ensure compliance with all federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations Requirements: • Active, clear California Pharmacist license • Recent pharmacy experience required • Outpatient pharmacy experience preferred This is a temp-to-perm role with strong potential for permanent placement if youre a good fit for the operation and culture.
