This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Outside Sales Representative based in United States.

This role is a senior-level sales position focused on driving territory growth, managing channel performance, and expanding market presence across complex technical and industrial markets.
You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans while leading and supporting manufacturer representatives and internal sales resources.
The position plays a critical role in revenue generation across multiple industries including telecommunications, industrial, defense, energy, and data infrastructure.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align channel strategy, optimize sales execution, and ensure consistent performance against KPIs.
A strong focus is placed on leadership, coaching, and building high-performing sales channels capable of sustained growth.
You will also manage forecasting, reporting, and pipeline visibility to support executive decision-making and business planning.
This is a high-impact role where strategic leadership directly influences regional and national revenue performance.

Accountabilities:

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for leading sales strategy execution, managing channel partners, and driving revenue growth across assigned territories.

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and organizational goals.
  • Manage and support manufacturer representatives, providing direction, training, account strategy, and pipeline oversight.
  • Oversee channel and inside sales operations to ensure consistent territory performance and growth.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to align sales initiatives with company-wide objectives.
  • Monitor sales performance, KPIs, forecasts, and representative effectiveness across assigned regions.
  • Conduct regular sales reviews, pipeline discussions, and customer strategy sessions.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop sales personnel to ensure strong execution and customer service excellence.
  • Design and support compensation and incentive structures aligned with performance objectives.
  • Prepare sales reports and performance insights for senior leadership.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitive activity, and emerging industry developments.
  • Promote operational efficiency and resource optimization across teams and tools.

  • Requirements:

    This role requires strong leadership experience in outside sales, channel management, and business development within technical or industrial markets.

    • 7+ years of experience in outside sales, business development, or regional sales leadership.
    • Proven track record of driving consistent revenue growth (10%+ annually preferred).
    • Experience managing sales teams, channel partners, or manufacturer representatives.
    • Strong business acumen with the ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Experience using CRM and ERP systems for pipeline and performance management.
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail and execution.
    • Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration across sales, operations, and channel teams.
    • Proficiency in standard business tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams, etc.).
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment with remote flexibility.
