Accountabilities:

The Patient Experience Coordinator will serve as a key point of contact for patients, ensuring they receive clear guidance, responsive support, and a seamless experience throughout their healthcare journey. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple teams.

  • Manage patient communications through phone, email, text messaging, and digital platforms while providing professional and compassionate support.
  • Address non-clinical patient questions, requests, and concerns while ensuring timely resolution and appropriate follow-up.
  • Collaborate with care coordination, billing, clinical operations, and other internal teams to support smooth patient workflows.
  • Escalate clinical, billing, or access-related concerns to the appropriate teams when additional expertise is required.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions while following established workflows, privacy standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Prioritize multiple patient conversations while meeting service expectations in a fast-paced remote environment.
  • Identify recurring patient challenges and provide insights that contribute to process improvements and enhanced patient satisfaction.
  • Support operational initiatives that improve communication quality, efficiency, and overall patient experience.
  • Requirements:

    The ideal candidate is a proactive, empathetic, and organized professional with experience supporting patients or customers in healthcare environments. They should be comfortable working independently, using digital tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

    • 2+ years of experience in healthcare coordination, patient support, care navigation, customer success, or another patient-facing healthcare role.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong empathy, professionalism, and emotional intelligence.
    • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while effectively collaborating with distributed teams.
    • Experience using digital communication tools, healthcare technology platforms, or patient engagement systems.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage tasks, maintain accurate records, and follow structured processes.
    • Data-driven mindset with the ability to track performance, identify trends, and contribute to operational improvements.
    • Genuine interest in improving patient experiences and expanding access to better healthcare.
    • Comfortable working Pacific Time or Eastern Time business hours.
    • Experience with healthcare automation, telehealth, or operational workflows is a plus.
