This position is based in Draper, UT or Houston, TX.

We are looking for talented, high performing team players to join our growing Payment Operations team. You will be responsible for monitoring payment files, apis, and sftp connections, working with internal cross-functional partners to resolve internal incidents as well as engaging vendors and 3rd party partners to resolve external issues. You will work with the Incident Management Supervisor and Payment Operations Manager to apply learnings from past incidents and reduce occurrences in the future as well as contribute to the strategy of minimizing impact to our customers and Bill.com. Â
On call and after hours support may be required. Â
We’d love to chat if you have:
- 2 years experience leading an incident response team or part of an on call escalation team.
- Knowledge or experience working with SFTP systems.
- Knowledge or experience working with API based payment systems.
- Financial technology experience (B2B preferred).
- Operationally process driven and able to review steps for efficiency and internal controls.
- Ability to analyze past incidents to identify opportunities for improvement or mitigation.
- Banking or accounting experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Confident, articulate phone presence and written communication skills.
- Experience in a fast paced, high energy environment and can react quickly to changing priorities.
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of payment systems and processing (ACH, Wire, International Wire, Credit Card, Checks).
- Able to work west coast banking hours: 1pm-10pm CST.

The estimated base salary range for this role is noted below for our office location in Draper, UT. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in BILL’s bonus and equity plan. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.
This role is based in Utah.
The On Target Earnings (OTE) range for this role is noted below for our office location in Draper, UT. This role is eligible to participate in BILL’s sales incentive and equity plans. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.
