This is a specialized integration engineering role focused on designing, building, and maintaining enterprise-level connectivity within and beyond PeopleSoft ecosystems. You will be responsible for developing robust integration solutions that connect PeopleSoft applications with cloud platforms, internal systems, and third-party services. The role emphasizes deep expertise in Integration Broker, API-based architectures, and secure, scalable data exchange patterns. You will work closely with functional and technical stakeholders to translate business needs into reliable integration solutions that support mission-critical operations. The environment is highly collaborative and engineering-driven, with strong expectations around code quality, documentation, and operational excellence. This position also offers exposure to modern middleware platforms and enterprise integration strategies in large-scale environments.

Accountabilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft Integration Broker solutions, including service operations, queues, routings, and handlers.
  • Build and support synchronous and asynchronous integrations using REST and SOAP web services.
  • Develop data transformations using PeopleCode, Application Engine, XSLT, and related tools while ensuring maintainability and scalability.
  • Configure and manage integration security, including WS-Security, OAuth2, certificates, and authentication frameworks.
  • Implement error handling, monitoring, retry logic, and notification mechanisms for resilient integration flows.
  • Develop Component Interfaces and File Layouts to support hybrid and legacy integration patterns.
  • Lead modernization efforts by migrating legacy point-to-point integrations into standardized Integration Broker frameworks.
  • Optimize integration performance through queue management, parallel processing, and asynchronous design techniques.
  • Integrate PeopleSoft with cloud and enterprise platforms such as Oracle Cloud, Workday, ServiceNow, and middleware tools.
  • Provide production support, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and post-go-live hypercare.
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation including architecture diagrams, runbooks, and integration design specifications.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and architects to define requirements and ensure alignment with engineering standards.
  • Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and technical guidance.

  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
    • 5+ years of experience in PeopleSoft development with a strong focus on Integration Broker.
    • Hands-on experience designing and implementing REST and SOAP web services in PeopleSoft.
    • Strong proficiency in PeopleCode, Application Engine, XML, XSLT, and JSON.
    • Solid understanding of web service security standards including WS-Security and OAuth2.
    • Strong SQL skills and deep familiarity with PeopleSoft data structures.
    • Experience integrating PeopleSoft with middleware platforms such as OIC, MuleSoft, or Boomi is a plus.
    • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues in production environments.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to document and explain technical solutions clearly.
    • Experience supporting PeopleSoft upgrades, patches, and production releases.
    • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and API management concepts is highly desirable.

    • Benefits:

      • Competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $150,000, based on experience
      • Full-time W2 employment with long-term, multi-year engagement stability
      • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage
      • 100% remote work within the United States
      • Paid time off and standard company holidays
      • Retirement savings plan (401(k) eligibility)
      • Exposure to large-scale enterprise integration architectures
      • Opportunity to work on modernization initiatives replacing legacy integration systems
      • Technical growth through mentorship, architecture involvement, and cross-platform integration work
