It is an opportunity to work in a high-ownership environment where engineering quality and operational excellence are central priorities.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage core infrastructure components including application servers, process schedulers, web servers (WebLogic), and Integration Broker services.
  • Administer and optimize search platforms such as Elasticsearch or OpenSearch supporting PeopleSoft functionality.
  • Execute system copies, refreshes, and environment cloning while ensuring stability, documentation, and operational consistency.
  • Collaborate with Oracle DBA teams to support database connectivity, performance tuning, and reliability improvements.
  • Implement automation using shell scripting, Python, or Ansible to reduce operational overhead and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor system performance, lead capacity planning, and provide post-production support including incident resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Design and support high availability and disaster recovery strategies for enterprise PeopleSoft environments.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, runbooks, and operational procedures.
  • Support mentoring and knowledge sharing with junior engineers through reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.

  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
    • 5+ years of hands-on experience with PeopleSoft PeopleTools administration and development.
    • Strong experience with PeopleTools upgrades, PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM), and system patching processes.
    • Deep knowledge of WebLogic, Tuxedo, and PeopleSoft application and process scheduler architecture.
    • Experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch administration in enterprise environments.
    • Working knowledge of Oracle Database administration and performance tuning concepts.
    • Strong Linux/Unix skills with hands-on experience in shell scripting.
    • Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible or similar DevOps technologies.
    • Experience supporting HA/DR environments and enterprise-grade production systems.
    • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and technical documentation skills.
    • Ability to work in a fully W2 environment (no C2C, 1099, or third-party arrangements).
    • Must be eligible for U.S.-based remote work; H1B transfers may be considered.

    • Benefits:

      • Competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $150,000, based on experience
      • Full-time W2 employment with long-term, multi-year engagement stability
      • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage
      • Remote-first role within the United States (eligible states apply)
      • Paid time off and standard company holidays
      • Retirement savings options (401(k) eligibility)
      • Opportunity to work on large-scale, enterprise-grade PeopleSoft environments
      • Exposure to modern automation and DevOps practices in enterprise infrastructure
      • Long-term technical ownership with strong engineering depth and mentorship opportunities
