Job Description

Team: Marketing

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Performance Marketing Manager - Temporary Contract based in the United States.

This role is a hands-on, execution-focused opportunity supporting a live paid media program during a defined leave coverage period. You will step into an active performance marketing environment and take ownership of day-to-day campaign management across multiple digital channels, ensuring continuity and performance stability. The work spans both eCommerce and lead generation initiatives, requiring strong fluency in paid media platforms and a data-driven mindset. You will operate in a fast-paced, remote-first setup with minimal ramp time, collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders. This is a high-ownership contract role designed for an experienced operator who can quickly integrate into existing systems and deliver measurable impact. The environment values autonomy, precision, and the ability to work efficiently with AI-enabled marketing workflows.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will take full ownership of active paid media execution and optimization across search and social channels, ensuring performance continuity and efficient budget use throughout the contract period. You will manage campaign structures, bidding strategies, and pacing while driving ongoing improvements across acquisition funnels.

  • Manage day-to-day performance marketing operations across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Meta Ads Manager, including prospecting and retargeting campaigns
  • Oversee budget allocation, bid strategy adjustments, and campaign optimization for both eCommerce and lead generation objectives
  • Execute structured testing programs, maintain documentation of experiments, and translate insights into actionable improvements
  • Leverage AI tools and automation to enhance reporting, analysis, copy iteration, and workflow efficiency
  • Produce clear, consistent performance reports and insights for internal stakeholders and leadership
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align campaign execution with broader marketing and business goals
  • Document processes, optimizations, and campaign learnings to ensure smooth knowledge transfer at contract completion
  • Requirements:

This role requires a seasoned performance marketing professional with strong technical fluency in paid media platforms and a proven ability to operate independently in fast-moving environments. You bring both strategic understanding and hands-on execution capability, with strong analytical thinking and comfort using modern marketing tools and AI-assisted workflows.

    • 5+ years of experience in performance marketing, ideally within eCommerce and lead generation environments
    • Strong hands-on expertise in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, including Shopping campaigns, feed-based structures, and automated bidding strategies
    • Experience managing Meta Ads Manager campaigns across full-funnel acquisition (prospecting and retargeting)
    • Proficiency in GA4 and web analytics tools; familiarity with BI tools such as Looker or Power BI is a plus
    • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools for marketing execution, reporting, analysis, and workflow optimization
    • Strong reporting skills with Excel and PowerPoint, including the ability to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently
    • Prior freelance, agency, or contract experience is strongly preferred
    • Benefits:

      • Temporary contract engagement (September–December 2026) with flexible workload (20–40 hours per week)
      • Remote-first role within the United States
      • Competitive hourly compensation ($60/hour)
      • Opportunity to manage active, high-impact paid media accounts
      • Exposure to modern performance marketing stacks, including AI-enabled workflows
      • Collaborative environment with cross-functional marketing and analytics teams
      • Experience working on established eCommerce and lead generation programs
