Responsibilities • Dispense medications accurately and provide information on drug interactions and side effects. • Manage medication therapy for patients, ensuring optimal outcomes. • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans. • Provide patient education regarding medications and health management. • Monitor patient progress and adjust medication regimens as necessary. • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality. • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy department. Requirements • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution. • Active pharmacist license in the state of practice. • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy. • Experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred. • Excellent communication and patient service skills. • Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
