PHYSICIAN - Family Medicine

We seek a compassionate and skilled Family Medicine Physician to join our growing primary care team in Park Rapids, MN. This high-volume practice provides an excellent small-town feel and team-focused atmosphere. This position is ideal for someone looking to settle into a warm and welcoming community. The entire provider team includes a mix of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, chiropractor, behavioral health professionals, general surgeons, dietitians, diabetes educators, and a respiratory therapist. We have exceptional support staff and many outreach specialty services provided weekly/monthly. Our beautiful clinic is directly attached to CHI St. Joseph's Health Area Services hospital and is in the heart of Minnesota Lake country.

• Full-time, 1.0 FTE opportunity (36 patient clinic contact hours)
• Hours: Monday-Friday between 8a-5p
• Based in Park Rapids, MN, with potential outreach to Menahga and Walker clinics.
• Outpatient practice.
• EPIC EMR
• Virtual Visits with patients using Zoom technology
• Procedures welcome including Nexplanon and IUD placement, pessary fitting, colposcopy, joint injections, toenail removal and others.
• Average Clinic Patients per day: 16-22
• Call Coverage: approximately 1:10 via telephone
• Onsite Services Include: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine and Pediatric Medicine; Psychology and psychiatric medication management; General Surgery including endoscopy, Wound Care, Bariatrics and Medical Weight Management; Diabetes Education and Dietitian services; Infusion Center; Pathology and Lab services; Radiology/Imaging including mammography, ultrasound, DEXA and MRI; Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy; Community Health workers and substance abuse disorder treatment.
• Outreach Services into Park Rapids include: Audiology, Hematology/Oncology, Dermatology, ENT, Cardiology, Nephrology, OB/GYN, Orthopedic Surgery, Podiatry

The Essentia Primary Care Physician works as a leader of a Care Team, collaborating with other healthcare team members to achieve patient care objectives and to provide continuity of care for patients and families.
