This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Plan Build Coordinator in the United States.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of healthcare plan administration, system configuration, and claims processing. As a Plan Build Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing, configuring, and maintaining health benefit plans across multiple systems to ensure accurate and efficient claims adjudication. You will collaborate closely with IT teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners to integrate systems, implement updates, and optimize workflows. The role requires a detail-oriented, analytical professional who can balance multiple priorities, troubleshoot complex issues, and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations. You will play a critical part in ensuring the seamless delivery of benefits while continuously improving system functionality and operational efficiency.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop, configure, and maintain healthcare plan designs and benefit structures in multiple systems to support accurate claims processing.
  • Ensure all plan configurations meet regulatory, compliance, and auto-adjudication requirements.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of plans to reflect changes in policies, regulations, and business needs.
  • Oversee system integration and interoperability to streamline adjudication processes and improve efficiency.
  • Facilitate system upgrades, patches, and maintenance while minimizing downtime and operational disruption.
  • Perform comprehensive testing of plan configurations to validate accuracy and functionality.
  • Document plan setups, testing protocols, system changes, and resolution of issues to maintain high standards.
  • Communicate project status, issues, and resolutions effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Requirements:
  • Associate’s degree in healthcare administration, information systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare plan building, system configuration, or claims adjudication.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare policies, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in healthcare management systems and software, with experience supporting auto-adjudication preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical ability.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred: certification in healthcare information systems or demonstrated experience in system integration and optimization projects.
