We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Platform Apps Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's platform applications, including Zendesk and Intercom. The Platform Apps Administrator will work closely with other members of the Cloud Apps team..

The Team:

Within G-P, the Cloud Applications team works closely with most areas of the business i.e. IT Cloud Services, Enterprise Applications, Ops, Legal, InfoSec etc. 

What you can expect to do:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for 

  • Working with the Zendesk & Intercom teams and manage and maintain the both applications, and being able to manage multiple initiatives across both applications.
  • Develop and implement best practices for platform application administration, including user management, system upgrades, and data management
  • Collaborate with other members of the Cloud Apps team to ensure that platform applications are meeting the needs of the organization
  • Provide training and support to end users on platform application functionality and usage
  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform application issues as they arise

What we’re looking for:

  • Debug and troubleshoot issues as they arise
  • Ensure compliance with established coding and quality standards
  • Provide technical support and guidance on best practices
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
  • Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to enhance system performance and reliability
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years of experience managing and maintaining enterprise platform applications
  • Experience with Zendesk & Intercom platforms
  • Experience using integration tools and reporting tools like Power BI, Postman etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Soft Skills

  • Stakeholder Management - being able to work with a wide variety of stakeholders with each separate requirements / expectations.
  • Vendor Management - be able to communicate at times between vendors and the business & develop strong relationships.
  • Task Management - ability to manage multiple tasks and keep track of due dates, follow ups and regular updating.
  • Team Player - Willingness to support the team in other areas when required or when capacity allows.
