This role is at Spirit AeroSystems Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company supporting Spirit's Commercial Business Units ("Spirit Commercial"). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes one of Boeing's three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial's core products include fuselages pylons nacelles and wing components with a focus on innovative composite and aluminum manufacturing solutions.
Location: Wichita KS
To maintain operate repair build and rebuild plant infrastructure and systems pertaining to it.
Level B
• To maintain operate repair build and rebuild plant infrastructure and systems pertaining to it.• To assist all other crafts/trades in the maintenance and construction of plant equipment within the Spirit Wichita facility. • Assist in layout construct install modify repair and maintain all commercial and industrial plumbing systems including heating water drainage air steam paint water and gas. • Fabricate and repair all types of hoses including vacuum chemical pneumatic hydraulic steam paint gas (all types) and water.• Ensure compliance with current specifications and regulations.
Required:
- Must have 3-5 years plumbing experience.
- All applicants must be willing and able to work any shift including alternative work weeks. Majority of new hires will be hired on 2nd shift.

Union:
This is a union-represented position.
Pay: $25.09/hour with potential to earn up to $43.13/hour in accordance with the terms of the relevant collective bargaining agreement.
