Policy Analyst/Technical Writer

As a Policy Analyst/Technical Writer, you’ll craft customer documentation such as system design and information assurance policies, with the goal to make an impact across the federal government. In collaboration with your teammates and the customer, you will document and transfer critical technical documents in support of the mission.

What you'll do:

• Provide support to our customers, creating documentation of requirements, system design, information assurance policies and controls.
• Be responsible for gathering and maintaining documentation repositories.
• Gather processes and maintain documentation repositories.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders to understand technical writing requirements, creating milestones and project plans for completion.

What you need to succeed: 

• Bachelor’s Degree; 5+ years of experience
• Strong communication and writing skills and strong Technical Writing experience.
• Experience with Federal IT legislation, regulations and Executive Orders.
• Experience coordinating policies, directives, memorandums within the federal government.
• Ability to commute to Washington, DC.
