The Opportunity

The primary purpose of the Pre-Sales Consultant (LVS) is to engage and work with Landmark Valuation Services customers (Lenders and Surveyors/Valuers) who use Landmark’s Valuation technologies to deliver efficiencies in their mortgage valuation process and use or wish to use data to assess risk on residential properties (both at the point of mortgage origination and on back-book portfolio).

A specific focus of this role initially will be to work with Lenders to enhance Landmark’s property risk model that delivers competitive advantage in the market.

It is also an expectation of the role that you will consult with customers on where and how LandmarkConnect can improve their businesses and speed up the property transaction process overall.

You will:

  • Provide pre-sales technical consultancy and domain expertise to the customer and bring that back into the business to deliver data and service propositions
  • Support the Sales teams with their understanding of technical and domain concepts and compatible propositions to market.
  • Assist in the pipelining of prospects for new business.
  • Be responsible for reporting on propositions, market initiatives and residential property market trends to support the Product and Business leadership to inform roadmap and product decisions.

About You

To be successful as the Pre-Sales Consultant (LVS) you will be a subject matter expert in the property valuation field.  A strong communicator, who can present complex ideas in a persuasive and convincing manner.  You will also be inquisitive, able to listen to understand and challenge when necessary.  You will also have/be:

  • BSc/BA any field plus ideally MBA in technical and business qualification would be desirable
  • Experience in a technical lead management which is external facing, or lead in matrix delivery team in a dynamic technology business
  • Experience in the property industry
  • Experience in dealing with Lenders and/or Surveyors/Valuers is essential
  • A good understanding of the mortgage market and the mortgage valuation process.
  • Able to propose integrated solutions linked to customer needs
  • Able to gain trust and credibility quickly in higher executive level interaction.
  • Ability to operate, build relationships and negotiate at C-level
  • Experience using Salesforce
