WireWheel is seeking a PRE SALES SOLUTION ARCHITECT to join our team. PRE SALES SOLUTION ARCHITECTThe Pre Sales Solution Architect will work closely with the WireWheel sales team to deliver results using your knowledge to influence customer decisions, provide insightful solutions and drive successful proof of concept implementations. The ideal candidate will have pre-sales engineering or technical consulting experience in the Data Privacy industry. Experience in web/marketing technology as well as knowledge of existing privacy laws (i.e., CCPA / GDPR) will be key for this role. SCOPE- You will serve as a product expert to the sales team and technical/product lead on sales opportunities supporting client meetings, custom demos, structured PoCs and presentations.
- You will be instrumental in the full sales cycle including discovery, opportunity evaluation, plan and execute proof of concepts, support and opportunity closure.
- You will work with the product teams to understand roadmap, functionality and new features as well as provide customer feedback and input into the product development cycle.
- You will support Sales in the completion of complex RFIs, RFPs and Security Assessments.
- BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- 10+ years’ experience as a pre-sales engineer in a SAAS, martech/adtech/data privacy industry
- Excellent customer-facing communication and organization skills
- A solid understanding of and appreciation for the sales cycle
- Ability to describe complex technical/product concepts to diverse audiences: executives, business stakeholders and technology practitioners
- Ability to diplomatically challenge assumptions and offer solutions
- Broad understanding of enterprise data architecture and/or cloud-native deployments and web design
- Willingness to travel as needed (estimated 25-30%)
- Ability and desire to learn new concepts quickly
- Expertise in major business software applications (Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Javascript, SQL, Python and other web development technology tools
